Urgent care is not emergency care. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, or any life-threatening symptom, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
How urgent care works
Seen today, treated today.
Tell us what's going on and pick the next available time. Most patients are seen within three hours.
Your clinician looks at your symptoms with you by video, explains what's happening and what to do, and sends any prescription to your pharmacy right away.

FAQ
Common questions
How quickly can I be seen?
Most patients are seen within three hours of booking.
What does a visit cost?
A video visit is $50 without insurance. If you use Medicare, you pay your plan's share, which is often less. A message-based visit, where one is appropriate, is $20. Renewing a medication an MD Care clinician already prescribed is $5. Lab work is billed separately by the lab.
Can MD Care prescribe medication?
Yes. When treatment is medically appropriate, your clinician can send a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.
Can I be treated without a video call?
Most visits are by video, because seeing you helps your clinician decide safely. For some straightforward issues a message-based visit is enough, and follow-up questions can usually be handled by message.
What if I need to see a specialist or be seen in person?
Some things can't be handled by video. When that's the case, your clinician will tell you directly and refer you to in-person care.
What if it's an emergency?
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. MD Care is not for emergencies.
Do you accept Medicare?
Yes. We accept Medicare for primary care and urgent care visits. Coverage depends on your plan, so we'll confirm your benefits before your visit.
